Shipping Policies

Should a shipping delay occur due to impacted service, please contact the shipping carrier for questions or concerns regarding your order. Shipping carrier can be found in the shipping confirmation email or on the order status page.

  • All items purchased from AKC Shop are made pursuant to a shipment contract, meaning that the risk of loss and title for such item(s) pass to you upon carrier's possession of item(s).
  • Orders over $99 receive free shipping with the exception of large or abnormally heavy item(s), including item(s) over 10lbs.
  • Shipping for all other orders is a $9.99 flat rate fee (with the exception of large or abnormally heavy items).
  • All orders will be shipped using ground shipping.
  • AKC Shop is unable to ship to P.O. boxes, APO/FPO addresses, and international addresses. AKC Shop is not responsible for orders sent to P.O. boxes, APO/FPO addresses, or international addresses that are not delivered.
  • AKC Shop Shipping Policies do not apply to items purchased from our Amazon.com or Chewy.com affiliate partners.

Return Policies & Information

  • If you are not satisfied with your purchase for any reason we are happy to help! Returns are accepted within 30 days of purchase (see below for exclusions* and defer to return policy on individual product page).
  • Please ensure all returned packages include the following: original packing slip (or note with order number), purchaser's first and last name, request for refund, and reasoning.
  • Return shipping costs are not included.
  • Initial shipping cost, if applicable, will not be refunded. 
  • Any product returned must be in the same condition it came in and in the original packaging.
  • At AKC's sole discretion, a refund may be issued without requiring a return.
  • Reach out to the AKC at returns@akc.org with any questions or concerns.

*AKC DNA Kits are FINAL SALE and are not available for return or exchange.

*Made-to-order embroidery, and custom printed, custom painted, and/or custom engraving items including: apparel, jars, ceramic bowls, phone cases and mugs, jewelry, and e-books are not available for return or exchange.
